You register as a self-employed contractor — not as a VanManoo employee. You are responsible for your own tax, National Insurance, VAT (if applicable), and keeping your driving licence, MOT, insurance and Public Liability Insurance up to date.
You must have the legal right to work in the United Kingdom. This is a legal requirement under the Immigration, Asylum and Nationality Act 2006. You will need to upload a valid Right to Work document — for example a UK passport, a Share Code with a Home Office reference, or a Biometric Residence Permit (BRP). Applications submitted without proof of Right to Work will be rejected.
Customers who use Get a Quote see your live price and pick you directly. The booking lands in your dashboard — one tap to accept and the job is yours.
When a customer uses Post a Job, every eligible driver sees it. Send your quote to the customer — they choose the offer that fits their budget and book you.
